Overview

Clicks Group is recruiting Shop Assistant Cashiers for Clicks Omni Square. The role focuses on delivering service excellence through efficient customer service, accurate point-of-sale (POS) operations, and high-standard merchandising and housekeeping that drive a positive in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all POS activities accurately and timeously, including scanning and payment processing.
Handle cash safely at all times; complete till procedures and reconciliations as required.
Promote Clicks ClubCard; enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
Inform customers about promotions to positively influence sales and ensure they “feel good and pay less.”
Act as a visible brand ambassador; deliver friendly, professional service.
Maintain merchandising and general housekeeping to store and visual standards.
Keep product, range, promotion, and event knowledge up to date to assist customers effectively.
Uphold company values and support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Education

Grade 12 (Matric).
(Desirable) Grade 12: Maths ≥50% and English ≥50%.

Experience

(Desirable) Customer-facing experience in retail/FMCG store operations.

Knowledge

Basic mathematics and numeracy.
Retail/FMCG environment; merchandising and promotions principles.
Stock management procedures.
Customer service excellence.

Skills & Competencies
