Overview

TFGโ€™s @home livingspace in Westrand, Roodepoort is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Furniture Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, creating memorable guest experiences, and ensuring the store reflects the latest homeware and furniture trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador and provide excellent customer experiences.
  • Identify customer needs and offer the best possible solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively tracking performance.
  • Sell a diverse range of furniture and homeware products, staying up to date with trends and technology.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising to ensure store readiness.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and execution of service strategies.
  • Manage risk within the store and contribute to strategic sales planning.

Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) essential.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail environment preferred.
  • Target-driven, guest experience-focused, and passionate about people.
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage administrative tasks.
  • Profit and turnover-driven with strong business acumen.
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
