Overview

Retail stores in Longmeadow and Ballito are currently seeking Cashiers to join their teams. This role is suited for individuals with strong attention to detail, good numerical skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Process customer transactions using cash registers accurately

– Scan items and ensure correct pricing at all times

– Handle payments (cash, card, vouchers) and issue receipts

– Process refunds, exchanges, and returns efficiently

– Perform daily cash-ups and maintain accurate financial records

– Keep checkout areas clean, organised, and presentable

– Assist customers with queries and resolve complaints professionally

– Promote products and assist with cross-selling where possible

– Support general store operations when required

Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Minimum 2 years’ cashier experience (back office experience advantageous)
Strong numerical and accuracy skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
