Overview

Khoemacau Copper Mining is seeking three (3) Occupational Health Nurses to join its mine site operations in Toteng, northwest Botswana. These roles are camp-based and offer candidates the opportunity to work in a fully mechanized underground mining environment. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, skilled, and committed to achieving operational excellence through Zero Harm.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site primary health care, occupational health services, and emergency response.
Conduct medical assessments, triage, treatment, and exit medicals in line with mine protocols.
Coordinate emergency evacuations, manage workplace injuries, and monitor chronic illnesses.
Identify workplace health hazards and recommend interventions.
Liaise with doctors on patient management and clinical pathways.
Implement wellness programs, health risk education, and occupational health initiatives.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with company health standards and regulations.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Degree or Diploma in General Nursing/Occupational Health Nursing.
Minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in Occupational Health.
Valid Code 8/S Class B driver’s license with good driving record.

Additional Skills

Auditory testing skills.
Spirometry testing skills.
Basic Life Support certification.
