Job Purpose

The Cashier will be responsible for accurately capturing customer transactions, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily retail operations at the GWK Retail store in Magogong.


Key Responsibilities

– Process customer transactions accurately at the pay point

– Provide friendly, professional client service

– Capture and allocate cash and card receipts correctly

– Perform daily banking of cash and cheques

– Complete daily administrative tasks

– Support back-office functions related to card transactions

– Assist with security and loss control procedures


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Previous cashier or retail experience (advantageous)

  • Basic administrative and computer skills
