Job Overview

Umtiza Farmersโ€™ Corp, a subsidiary of Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK Group), is seeking a Cashier to join its retail branch in Butterworth. The successful candidate will report to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for accurately recording sales transactions while delivering efficient and friendly customer service.

Key Responsibilities

– Process sales accurately using the POS system

– Handle cash, card, and other approved payment methods

– Perform basic administrative duties related to cashier operations

– Ensure compliance with company procedures and controls

– Provide professional, courteous service to customers

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • Bilingual, with strong English communication skills
  • Good numerical and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions
  • Strong customer service orientation

Advantageous

  • Previous cashier or retail experience
