Overview
Empact Group is seeking a dedicated General Assistant to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The role involves assisting with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene, Health & Safety, and Food Safety.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with basic food preparation tasks
– Support both front-of-house and kitchen operations as required
– Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards
– Provide excellent service to clients and customers
– Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry (essential)
- Customer service experience is advantageous
- A Food & Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of basic food preparation
- Good communication skills
- High personal hygiene standards
