About the Role

Empact Group is looking for a professional and service-driven Receptionist to join our Integrated Facilities Management team at Amandelbult Mine. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth front-office operations, ensuring excellent guest relations, and supporting administrative functions to uphold our high service standards.

You will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors โ€” responsible for creating a welcoming environment, handling inquiries, managing check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining accurate Help Desk records in line with UjuESS operational procedures.


Key Responsibilities

– Manage the reception desk as the first point of contact for all visitors, residents, and clients.

– Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.

– Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints with a focus on excellent customer service.

– Accurately log and monitor all requests through the Help Desk system.

– Maintain up-to-date records of guest interactions and transactions.

– Perform daily cash-ups and ensure accurate reconciliation of payments.

– Report supplier or operational issues using internal systems.

– Support the Camp Supervisor and team with administrative duties and general office coordination.

– Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.


Minimum Requirements

  • 1โ€“2 yearsโ€™ experience in reception, customer service, or office administration.
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative skills (MS Office proficiency).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Professional, well-groomed, and customer-focused demeanour.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or remote-site environment (advantageous).
