Role Overview

Europcar Bloemfontein seeks a responsible and reliable Driver / Cleaner to join its operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean, maintained, and delivered to customers in line with company standards, while upholding Europcarโ€™s commitment to quality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

– Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to Europcarโ€™s high presentation standards.

– Perform vehicle quality control checks โ€” report expired licenses, defects, or damages.

– Refuel vehicles, check tyre pressure, oil, water, and other essential fluids after every rental.

– Deliver and collect vehicles according to standard operating procedures.

– Handle vehicle check-ins and inspections accurately and professionally.

– Maintain cleanliness of the yard and surrounding operational areas.

– Uphold company integrity by following ethical conduct and protecting business assets.

– Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Experience:

  • At least 2 yearsโ€™ experience in a driving-related role.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driverโ€™s license (minimum 2 years old).
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office preferred).
  • Fully bilingual and able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read maps and follow routes accurately.
  • Knowledge of South African driving rules and regulations.

Additional Conditions:

  • Must be willing to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as required.
