Overview

Motus Corporation is currently recruiting Cashiers for Midas branches in Oudtshoorn and Polokwane. This opportunity is ideal for experienced individuals who can manage cash transactions accurately, maintain records, and provide efficient customer service in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Receive and process customer payments accurately

– Handle cash, card, and cheque transactions according to company procedures

– Issue receipts and confirm transactions with customers

– Perform daily cash reconciliation and verify totals

– Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

– Prepare and organize documentation, receipts, and deposit slips

– Assist with general administrative duties at the branch

– Respond to customer enquiries and provide product pricing information

Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
2–5 years’ cashier experience (essential)
Strong numeracy and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (MS Excel)
Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
Clear criminal and ITC record

Skills & Attributes

Accuracy in cash handling and reconciliation
Strong customer service orientation
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Organised and detail-focused
