TWK Agri is currently recruiting a Cashier for its Trade Division in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an opportunity to join a well-established agricultural business serving farming communities and retail customers across the region.
Job Overview
The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. The role includes handling payments, issuing receipts, maintaining a tidy checkout area, and supporting general store operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Process cash and card transactions accurately
– Count and balance cash drawers at the start and end of shifts
– Sort and wrap notes and coins
– Calculate totals and tabulate bills using POS systems
– Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and correct change
– Greet and assist customers professionally
– Maintain clean and organised checkout areas
– Bag, box, and prepare merchandise for customers
– Stock shelves and label items where required
– Assist with stock takes and inventory control
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Previous cashier experience
- Ability to handle cash responsibly
- Good customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
