Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

– Greet and acknowledge customers promptly

– Deliver exceptional service aligned to Birkenstock standards

– Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products

– Drive sales and secure add-on purchases

– Monitor personal sales performance against targets

– Build long-term customer loyalty

Inventory & Stock Control

Replenish stock daily from the storeroom
Minimise shrinkage and follow store policies
Process deliveries, tagging, pricing and capturing stock on POS
Ensure stock accuracy in the system

Daily Operations

Maintain high housekeeping standards
Assist with store opening and closing procedures
Keep fitting rooms and display areas clean and organised

Merchandising

Maintain visual presentation according to brand standards
Ensure full size availability on the sales floor
Assist with window and mannequin changes
Protect POS materials and store equipment

Training & Development

Attend quarterly training sessions
Complete required assessments
Engage in regular feedback sessions with management
Take ownership of personal growth and development

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric
Minimum 6 months customer service experience
Knowledge of the Birkenstock brand (advantageous)
Able to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
Strong communication skills
