Job Overview

Clicks Group is recruiting Shop Assistants / Cashiers across multiple stores nationwide. This role focuses on delivering service excellence through efficient point-of-sale operations, accurate cash handling, and effective merchandising to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.

Successful candidates will act as brand ambassadors, supporting Clicksโ€™ vision of being South Africaโ€™s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

  • Thabong (Vereeniging/Kopanong)
  • Vyfhoek โ€“ Potchefstroom
  • River Square โ€“ Vereeniging/Kopanong
  • Empangeni (Prince Buthelezi Mall)
  • Gateway โ€“ Durban
  • Mark Park โ€“ Vereeniging/Kopanong
  • Bloemfontein (multiple posts)

Key Responsibilities

– Execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities accurately and efficiently

– Handle cash safely and process all forms of payment correctly

– Promote Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members

– Inform customers about current promotions and specials

– Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service

– Maintain merchandising standards and general housekeeping

– Keep up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and in-store events

– Support store targets by ensuring a positive shopping experience

  • Basic mathematical calculations
  • Understanding of retail/FMCG operations and merchandising principles

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric) โ€“ Essential
  • Mathematics and English at 50% (Advantageous)

Experience

  • Customer-facing experience in a retail or FMCG environment (Advantageous)
