Job Overview

Pedros is opening a new store in Bronkhorstspruit and is looking for motivated and customer-focused Cashiers to join the launch team. Job Purpose

To deliver efficient, accurate, and friendly front-counter service by processing customer transactions and supporting smooth daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Accurately process customer orders and payments

– Operate the POS system and resolve basic transaction issues

– Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly

– Issue receipts and manage refunds or exchanges when required

– Promote current specials and upsell menu items

– Manage customer queues efficiently during busy periods

– Address basic customer queries and complaints professionally

– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area

– Balance cash and submit end-of-shift reports

– Protect company assets and minimise losses

Requirements

  • Previous cashier or retail experience (advantageous)
  • Strong numeracy and cash-handling skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
