Job Overview

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandisers to join our retail teams across multiple locations. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked, visually appealing shelves while delivering excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in ensuring product availability, correct stock rotation, and attractive in-store displays.


Key Responsibilities

– Count, record, and manage stock to be merchandised

– Receive, unpack, and document incoming stock deliveries

– Arrange and display products to maximise visibility and sales

– Ensure all product lines are fully stocked and correctly priced

– Monitor stock levels continuously and maintain accurate records

– Rotate stock, remove expired or damaged items, and ensure quality standards

– Conduct stock takes and assist with inventory planning

– Adjust displays according to promotions, seasons, and available stock

– Create promotional and seasonal displays using approved merchandising guidelines

– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of shelves, displays, and storerooms

– Provide product information to customers and assist with queries or complaints

– Follow store display plans, safety standards, and operational procedures


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • Previous experience as a Merchandiser, Field Marketer, General Worker, or General Clerk
  • Reside within 20 km of the job location
  • Clear criminal record
