About the Role

TWK Agri is looking for a motivated and dynamic Trainee Marketer (Whole Goods) to join the Mechanisation team in Piet Retief. This entry-level role is designed to develop a future marketer in the agricultural machinery sector. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in the sales and marketing of tractors, implements, and related agricultural equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about agriculture, sales, and marketing who is ready to learn, grow, and contribute to TWKโ€™s expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities

– Support sales and marketing of agricultural products, including tractors and implements

– Advise customers and promote suitable products

– Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings

– Assist in developing effective marketing strategies

– Identify and pursue new customer segments

– Process customer orders accurately and timeously

– Upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients

– Engage with prospective customers and share product information

– Maintain general administrative records and documentation

– Conduct daily visits to existing and potential customers to strengthen relationships

– Assist the Senior Marketer with sales activities and on-site customer support

– Contribute to growing the TWK client base across the region

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Basic knowledge of tractors and farming machinery (advantageous)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and professional
  • Passion for sales and marketing
  • Valid driver’s licence (Code 08)
  • Willingness to travel regularly
