About the Role

Seriti Green is recruiting a Shuttle & Logistics Administrator to support the companyโ€™s transport and fleet operations. This role provides administrative coordination across vehicle bookings, fleet compliance, servicing, insurance processes, scheduling drivers, and ensuring all transport requirements are met efficiently.
The position also acts as a backup driver when the primary Shuttle Driver is unavailable, helping maintain smooth operations across Seriti Green offices and project sites.


Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet & Vehicle Administration

– Maintain updated records of all company vehicles (licensing, registrations, insurance, etc.)

– Track renewals for licences, roadworthy certificates, and compliance documents

– Ensure every vehicle is equipped with required safety items (first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, warning triangle, reflective vest, etc.)

– Conduct regular vehicle inspections and arrange servicing or repairs with approved service providers

– Liaise with Finance on insurance claims, policy renewals, and compliance

– Manage tracking systems, tag activations, and e-tag accounts

– Maintain a fleet registry and generate reports on vehicle usage and maintenance

– Provide backup driving support when required

2. Transport Coordination & Scheduling

  • Manage vehicle booking registers and allocate vehicles appropriately
  • Prepare daily and weekly schedules for the Shuttle Driver
  • Verify employee driverโ€™s licences before allocating a company vehicle
  • Coordinate transport for staff, clients, and stakeholders (airports, meetings, site visits)
  • Monitor and record fuel consumption, mileage, and travel logs

3. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to Seriti Greenโ€™s Journey Management and Health & Safety policies
  • Stay updated with SA road regulations and company driving standards
  • Report incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues to management
  • Maintain accurate safety, compliance, and inspection documentation
  • Handle all logistics-related information with discretion and confidentiality

4. Administrative Support

  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
  • Liaise with external service providers (mechanics, tracking companies, insurance partners)
  • Assist with logistics for procurement, deliveries, and operational requirements
  • Prepare fleet utilisation, cost, and compliance reports
  • Support HR and Operations with planning for events, training, and site visits

5. Professional Conduct

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Diploma/Certificate in Logistics, Fleet Management, Administration (advantageous)
  • 3โ€“5 yearsโ€™ experience in logistics, fleet administration, or operations
  • Valid South African Code 8/EB Driverโ€™s Licence
  • PDP (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of vehicle safety, compliance, and recordkeeping
  • Experience working with logbooks, fleet systems, and journey management
