About the Role
Europcar Pietermaritzburg is seeking a dependable Driver/Cleaner to support daily vehicle operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving, vehicle preparation, cleaning, and ensuring customers receive well-presented, road-ready vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
– Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards
– Perform vehicle quality checks and report any issues or expired licence discs
– Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, water, oil, and other fluid levels
– Deliver vehicles to customers following standard procedures
– Handle vehicle check-ins according to company quality and claims processes
– Maintain cleanliness and order in the yard and surrounding areas
– Safeguard company assets and uphold ethical behaviour at all times
– Perform additional duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 (B) driverโs licence โ at least 2 years old
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Fully bilingual with strong communication skills
- Ability to read and follow maps
- Willingness to work weekends, shifts, and overtime when required
