Role Overview

BKB Ltd is looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to support its Livestock & Properties Division in Dundee. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently deliver livestock and equipment, assist in building pens at auctions, and perform related operational duties โ€” ensuring that all activities are carried out to company standards with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

– Transport livestock and equipment safely and timeously to designated locations.

– Assist with loading, offloading, and pen building during auctions.

– Maintain cleanliness and mechanical condition of company vehicles.

– Complete and submit all delivery, account, and offloading documentation accurately.

– Manage fuel consumption and report usage as required.

– Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
  • Valid Code 14 Driverโ€™s License (unendorsed).
  • Valid PDP (Public Driverโ€™s Permit).
  • Valid South African ID.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience in the livestock transport industry.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English or Afrikaans and Zulu.
  • Physically fit and able to pass a medical induction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain good client and co-worker relationships.
  • Ability to use navigation tools/apps effectively.
  • Willing to work weekends, irregular hours, travel extensively, and sleep out when required.
  • Professional, punctual, and neat in appearance.
