Overview

Adendorff Machinery Mart, a leading supplier of tools and machinery across South Africa, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Retail Shop Assistants (x3 Posts) to join its expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive in-store experience.

– Handle sales, quotations, and product inquiries professionally.

– Merchandise and display products according to company standards.

– Conduct stock control, stock taking, and receiving procedures accurately.

– Assist with assembling and dismantling machinery as needed.

– Maintain store cleanliness and organization in all areas.

– Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet sales and service targets.

– Promote Adendorff’s product range and provide informed recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

Matric / Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
1–2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service (advantageous)
Technical knowledge of DIY tools, hardware, or machinery (advantageous)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Must be willing to work retail hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturdays: 08:00 – 13:00
