Overview

Europcar Kokstad is seeking a reliable Driver / Cleaner (Light Duty) to support branch operations through safe vehicle movements, high-standard valeting, and customer-ready preparation. This role suits a detail-driven professional with a clean driving record, solid knowledge of SA road rules, and a strong customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to Europcar standards.
  • Perform vehicle quality control: flag expired licences, defects, and non-conformances.
  • Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, water and other fluids after every rental.
  • Deliver and collect vehicles in line with company procedures.
  • Conduct accurate vehicle check-ins per quality control and claims processes.
  • Keep the yard and surrounding areas neat and safe.
  • Protect company assets and uphold ethical conduct at all times.
  • Perform reasonable ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Matric / NQF 4 (or equivalent).
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 (B) driverโ€™s licence held for 2+ years.
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ relevant driving experience.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Fully bilingual with effective English communication skills.
  • Ability to read maps and follow routes.
  • Willing and able to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as operationally required.
  • Clean driving record and sound knowledge of SA driving regulations.
