Overview

TFG’s retail brands are recruiting Store Assistant (12 posts) across several provinces. Join a purpose-led, high-performance team delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining world-class merchandising and store standards.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a visible brand ambassador; deliver friendly, professional service.
Exceed customer expectations by identifying needs and recommending solutions.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets; track performance against goals.
Sell across diverse product ranges; keep up to date with fashion/sport/décor trends.
Replenish stock and maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
Seek and convert new sales opportunities on the floor.
Support opening/closing, cash desk and basic admin as required.

Requirements & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric).
Passion for people and customer service.
Target-driven; strong selling and negotiation ability.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Initiative, high attention to detail, and reliability.
Demonstrates: Building Customer Loyalty, Customer Service Delivery, Navigating Customer Challenges, Planning & Organising, Relating & Networking, Driving & Persevering.
Preference may be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Act.
