Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an Administrative Clerk within the Production Department in Queensburgh. The role requires a motivated and organised individual to perform a variety of administrative and related tasks, supporting senior management and ensuring effective departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor a variety of administrative tasks to support Production.
  • Carry out general office duties and maintain filing/data/records systems (Production files, MPC report, run time reports, Losses tracking file).
  • Handle documentation related to audits, traceability exercises, and root cause analyses (RCAโ€™s).
  • Use the Flow program to transfer data for loss investigations and plant optimisation.
  • Communicate with departmental staff, including time and attendance recording and tracking.
  • Support Production with OPLโ€™s, SOPโ€™s, and competency assessments.
  • Update training matrices for the department.
  • Assist with fixed cost, variable cost, and stock management processes.
  • Provide relief to colleagues where required and assist with ad-hoc departmental needs.
  • Capture leave applications and coordinate visitor arrangements, including protective clothing.
  • Assist with factory entry preparations and presentation preparation.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4.
  • Proficiency in Business English (verbal and written).
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • Previous experience in a Production environment is essential.
