Overview

Clicks Group is recruiting Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join its stores in Botswana, including Clicks Oshakati (Namibia border region) and Clicks Riverwalk Shopping Centre. This role is ideal for customer-focused individuals who are eager to provide excellent service and grow their retail career. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service as a brand ambassador.
Efficiently handle all point-of-sale activities, including scanning items, processing payments, and ensuring accuracy.
Promote and enroll customers for the Clicks Clubcard loyalty program.
Maintain high standards of merchandising and store presentation.
Support the company vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.
Keep updated knowledge of promotions, products, and ranges to assist customers effectively.
Ensure safe handling of cash and follow store operating procedures.

Requirements & Skills

Education: Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) with passes in English and Mathematics.
No prior experience required – training will be provided.
Strong customer orientation and willingness to learn.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
Basic numeracy and computer literacy.

Knowledge & Competencies

Understanding of merchandising and stock management (training provided).
Relating and networking with customers and colleagues.
Following instructions and meeting store operational standards.
Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
