Key Responsibilities (Role-Dependent)

Internal Auditor

  • Evaluate internal controls, compliance, and financial records.
  • Conduct fraud investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Create internal fraud awareness campaigns.

Senior Citizen Liaison Officer

  • Promote AVBOB services to retirement homes, churches, and senior-focused institutions.
  • Build networks with community leaders and manage client queries.
  • Plan and host events for outreach and engagement.

Team Leader

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Financial Associates.
  • Ensure sales targets and compliance with FAIS/FICA/LTIA regulations.
  • Develop and expand markets.

Financial Associates (Montana & Mthatha/Idutywa)

  • Market funeral insurance, savings plans, and related products.
  • Recruit funerals for the Funeral Division.

SHE Officer

  • Implement and monitor SHE policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Deliver SHE training and ensure compliance with legislation.

Requirements & Skills

General Requirements for All Roles:

  • Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum (role-specific qualifications apply).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications for specialist positions.
  • Clear ITC and criminal record.

Role-Specific Requirements:

  • Internal Auditor: BCom/BCom Honours (Internal Auditing & Accounting), CIA studies, 4โ€“5 yearsโ€™ internal audit/accounting experience, MS Office proficiency, Teammate/CaseWare IDEA knowledge.
  • Senior Citizen Liaison Officer: Marketing qualification, 3 yearsโ€™ sales/community engagement experience, strong public speaking and networking skills.
  • Team Leader: Industry entry qualification per FAIS requirements, RE5 (RE1 advantageous), leadership and sales management experience, valid driverโ€™s licence and own transport.
  • Financial Associates: FAIS-compliant qualification (per appointment year requirements), RE5 advantageous, marketing experience.
  • SHE Officer: Diploma in OHS/Environmental Science, 2โ€“5 yearsโ€™ SHE experience, HIRA, First Aid Level 3, knowledge of OHS Act, strong admin and reporting skills.
